We are looking into expanding our team and we have a vacancy for a full-time Graphic Designer. The position can be fully remote or hybrid. Both UK-based and international applicants are welcome to apply. The job would entail producing illustrations, infographics, storyboards for the animation pre-production stage and branding content (logo design, typeface design, brand guides) under the supervision of our Creative Director. Due to the nature of our projects, experience or background in scientific/medical/technical illustration or a science-oriented discipline/degree would be a plus. Likewise, any experience with motion graphics would be an asset as well, but is not essential. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

What we expect from you:

• Demonstrated minimum 2+ years of experience in a graphic design role

• Proven record of excellence in crafting unique and exceptional designs

• Passionate about design and creative experimentation but also able to work within a set design framework

• Fluency in English: ability to communicate with clarity verbally and in writing

• A positive, "can do" attitude which fits within the spirit of our team at R.S.

• Ability to work efficiently both as an individual and as part of a team, also under time pressure

• A sense of structure and methodology to your workflow

• Expert knowledge of: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint

• Ideally, some experience in After Effects

• Experience in digital graphics: illustrations, infographics

• Experience in graphics for branding: logo design, typeface design, brand guidelines etc.

• Some experience with 2D animation/motion graphics would be a plus

• A positive and motivated approach to new projects and challenges

• Either a strong interest or background in science/technology/innovations
