Reciprocal Space is a world-leading design studio based in London. We design visuals for biotech, medtech and pharmaceutical companies to communicate their R&D, technology, products and services in an engaging and professional way. We work at the interface of creative high-end design and scientific precision. Our services span presentation design, 3D and 2D animation, illustrations, infographics, branding, web design, video/photography, VR/AR and more.
We are expanding our team and we have a vacancy for a full-time Junior Graphic Designer. The job would entail designing infographics, websites, pitch deck presentations, storyboards for the animation pre-production stage and branding content under the supervision of our Head of Design. Due to the nature of our projects, experience or background in scientific/medical/technical illustration or a science-oriented discipline/degree is a strong advantage. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
This is a 100% in-person position. You will be based at our London office and work hand-in-hand within our dynamic team of designers, animators and scientists.
What we expect from you:

Education/background, experience or a strong proven literacy in science/medicine/technology is required. Applications not satisfying this condition will not be processed

Demonstrated experience in a graphic design role with a portfolio showing excellence in crafting unique and exceptional designs

Fantastic interpersonal communication skills and a positive, "can do" personality - characteristic traits of our team

Passionate about design and creative experimentation but also able to work within a set design framework

Ability to work under pressure, respecting deadlines etc.

A sense of structure and methodology to your workflow

Experience in digital graphics: illustrations, infographics, branding with the expert knowledge of: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint

Experience in website wireframing and design using Photoshop/Figma would be an advantage

Some experience in frontend website development (Elementor/Framer/HTML/CSS) or in motion graphics (After Effects) will be an additional advantage.
